About Scented Chemistry
Scented Chemistry helps you compare perfumes and colognes by scent, format and the details that matter when choosing a bottle. The site brings fragrance profiles, comparisons and practical guides together so you can work out what to sample next.
Find your starting point
- Use Start Here to understand fragrance strengths, scent families and application.
- Browse the perfume and brand directory for named fragrances, notes and shopping links.
- Open the comparison directory when choosing between two scents, or the glossary when a description needs translating.
Reading fragrance advice
A maker's note list describes the intended scent: it is not a complete ingredient list. Wearer feedback adds another perspective, such as whether someone finds the scent creamy, sharp, subtle or too sweet. We summarize actual reviews and discussions anonymously, keeping individual experiences separate from broader preferences.
Match the full fragrance name and format when comparing descriptions. An eau de toilette, an eau de parfum and a body mist can share a name while smelling different. A sample of the exact version helps you judge how it develops on your skin and whether you enjoy wearing it.
How the site is funded

Questions and corrections
If you spot a wrong fragrance version, an outdated link or another error, send us the page address and details. A manufacturer page or other relevant source helps us check the correction.
