Juice
Also known as: Jus
An informal term for the perfume liquid itself. Jus is the French term used in the same context.
Juice means the liquid fragrance in the bottle. In a review, someone comparing the juice is usually discussing the scent rather than the bottle or carton. SFA Parfum’s technical glossary uses juice for the alcoholic solution of perfume concentrate.
The word gives no concentration or quality rating. If a comment says the juice has changed, check which fragrance, concentration and versions are being compared. A decant contains a transferred portion of that perfume; its source and labelled version still matter when you want to compare it with a bottle.
