Fabulous Perfume That Smells Like Peonies

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede is a good first sample for peony with apple and soft leather. Compare Versace Bright Crystal EDT for watery fruit and flowers, or Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT for peony with rose and white musk. The notes beside the peony make these useful alternatives to try together.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne

Jo Malone’s notes put red apple in the opening, peony at the heart and suede in the base. The brand describes rose and honey accents within the peony impression, with a little green freshness. Choose it if the contrast of fruit, flowers and suede sounds more appealing than an entirely floral bouquet.

One wearer enjoys the fresh apple, pink florals and velvety suede finish. Another mostly gets peony, only mild suede and little apple, finding it pleasant but too linear to be exciting. A third finds the suede overpowering. Compare the later scent as well as the opening if suede is an unfamiliar note for you.

The Cologne is the perfume here. Peony & Blush Suede also names candles, room fragrance and body products.

Versace Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette

Bright Crystal EDT opens with yuzu, an iced accord and pomegranate. Peony, magnolia and lotus sit at the heart, above acajou wood, vegetal amber and musk. It is the fruitier, watery comparison to Jo Malone’s suede-floral idea.

A wearer enjoys its fresh floral balance without finding it strongly aquatic. Another gets a clean floral scent they like but wants more lasting power and depth. If you want a light-feeling floral rather than a dense bouquet, Bright Crystal is worth comparing with Blooming Bouquet.

Choose Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette for this profile. Bright Crystal Absolu and the Parfum are separate versions.

Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette

The current Blooming Bouquet EDT opens with sweet pea and bergamot, followed by Damascus rose and peony, then white musk. Start here for the rose-and-peony pairing instead of Bright Crystal’s pomegranate or Jo Malone’s suede.

One wearer describes dewy pink flowers with peony as the main impression and enjoys wearing it for sweet freshness. Another loves its delicate floral bouquet but wishes for stronger projection and lasting power. It is a good starting point if gentleness appeals more than a pronounced trail.

The Blooming Bouquet EDT spray is distinct from Miss Dior EDP and other named Miss Dior fragrances. If you’re comparing samples, use the current spray version for the sweet-pea, rose and peony combination above.
