Dior La Rose and Le Muguet bring two floral themes to the 2026 Les Récoltes Majeures collection. Each is a 125 ml Parfum limited to 300 numbered bottles, with a leather-sculpted cap by artist Marie Barthès. Francis Kurkdjian created the fragrances. Dior’s annual collection also includes Le Jasmin.
The choice begins with the flower you want to wear: rose with honeyed, fruity and spicy facets, or lily of the valley with a greener floral direction.
La Rose: a rose-centered composition
Dior describes La Rose as a soliflore, built to express the character of a rose. Kurkdjian’s interpretation combines honeyed sweetness with fruity and spicy nuances while retaining a green quality.
If rose perfumes usually appeal to you, consider which aspect you enjoy most: their sweetness, fresh green character or spice. Those are useful points to compare when trying La Rose, especially if you already own a rose fragrance you love.
Le Muguet: the Diorissimo connection
Le Muguet revisits lily of the valley. Dior explicitly connects Kurkdjian’s composition with Diorissimo, launched in 1956, describing a reinterpretation of that fragrance’s accord with green, sweet and floral facets.
Diorissimo is therefore a useful reference if you want to explore this part of Dior’s history. Compare how each balances greenery and flowers; sharing a floral theme does not make the two compositions interchangeable.
The bottle is part of the choice
Barthès’s work gives the 2026 editions a distinct visual identity. For Le Muguet, Dior describes a handmade lambskin cap with green leaves and pearls recalling the flower’s bells.
One reader reacting to the launch images preferred Dior’s bottle design to some Guerlain limited editions. If you collect decorated perfume bottles, the particular artwork may matter as much as adding another floral scent.
Choosing an edition
Choose La Rose to explore rose’s honeyed and green facets, or Le Muguet for its lily-of-the-valley theme and connection with Diorissimo. Ask Dior about the exact edition, bottle decoration and opportunities to smell it before ordering. Earlier years share the collection name, so check the year as well as the flower.
For a broader look at the house, the Dior directory groups its other fragrances by scent direction. A familiar floral can help you identify what you want from this collection without making a numbered bottle your first encounter with that note.
