Byredo Suede Osmanthus joins the Night Veils collection as a Harrods-exclusive 70 ml perfume extract. Quentin Bisch and Fanny Bal composed it, according to Now Smell This’s launch report. Peach and osmanthus meet suede, oud and labdanum: a combination to investigate if you like fruit with leather.

What wearers like and dislike
Some wearers enjoy its peach-and-suede combination. One particularly likes the smooth blend of osmanthus, peach and leather as it develops; another enjoys juicy peach and warm florals before suede becomes the main feature. A different wearer finds the floral-leather blend overpowering. These wearer impressions make the prominence of leather a useful thing to check when sampling.
For another Byredo take on fruit and leather, explore Bibliotheque, which pairs plum and cinnamon with leather, violet and woody vanilla. For a flower-focused alternative without the listed suede and oud accords, consider Inflorescence, with freesia, lily of the valley, magnolia and jasmine.
Trying the Harrods exclusive
Check Harrods for sampling options, delivery destinations and purchasing terms. Retailer exclusivity does not mean you must travel to London. Try it on skin before choosing a bottle, especially if you want the fruit and flowers to remain more noticeable than the leather.
